Erica completed her training in massage therapy at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy (BCMT) in 2013. While studying at BCMT, Erica trained in Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Shiatsu and Lymphatic Drainage Technique. Additionally, she has completed training in Neurostructural Integration Technique, a soft and gentle massage technique that dynamically integrates the structure and viscera of the body through stimulation of the central and peripheral autonomic nervous systems.
Erica’s style of massage therapy blends an anatomical perspective informed by Sports Massage and Orthopedics with a holistic vision that embraces the emotional, mental and spiritual components of each client and their experience in the massage. She brings a grounded, warm energy into her massage practice and aspires to assist others in their overall healing processes through the medium of massage therapy. Erica believes deeply that we should all leave everything better than how we found it, and she strives to achieve this in each session, on structural, emotional and mental levels. In her work at CBW, Erica specializes in Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage and Neuromuscular Massage, which she blends in order to meet the specific needs of each client.
Erica’s personal philosophy is to strive each day to be the best version of herself, which she applies wholeheartedly to her massage therapy practice. She believes that massage therapy is a powerful way to listen, learn and love more deeply, which is a core tenant of her life. Her massages are crafted with deep compassion and a belief in the transformative power of skilled touch and grounded presence.
A Boulder native, Erica enjoys hiking and snowboarding in the Rocky Mountains. When she’s not working or playing in the mountains, you can find her swimming or listening to music. She is a devout animal lover and spends as much time outside as possible.
