Nature – a centered mind/body approach which combines traditional massage therapy with more traditional physical therapy practices towards pain management.
Like many of the members of the CBW family, Clay Mosby’s training and education in the therapeutic fields have taken him all over not just the US but the world. After graduating as a Natural Therapeutics Specialist and Massage Therapist in 2013 he moved from New Mexico to Durango, CO where he practiced deep tissue and swedish massage with a focus on all over wellbeing, developing his awareness of the mind body connection while surrounded by the beautiful nature that is so central to his therapeutic philosophy. Passionate about travel and personal growth, Clay traveled to Africa where he began his studies in Psychology at the University of Ghana and immersed himself in the music and dance of the culture. Never stagnant, Clay explored the purely physical side of care and pain management with a Naturopath in Arizona, spending time working with neck and head injuries, sciatica, and headaches. His current continued studies in mental health therapy with an emphasis on wilderness therapy are also deeply important to his approach, as he believes deeply that the body and mind are interdependent upon each other’s well being. Through intentional massage Clay hopes to facilitate a state of deep relaxation and somatic release which combines the fields of mental health and theraputic massage. (NATURE)
