Brianne has been offering her eclectic array of healing modalities with completely customized care since 2009. She holds a degree from a 1000-hour massage therapy program at the Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, New York. She has had the privilege of offering her services at a diverse array of awesome places, including the Omega Institute of Holistic Studies, stunning Telluride, Colorado and some amazing cycling tours of the Southwest. As a trained doula, Brianne especially loves nurturing pregnant and postpartum mamas. Her other specialties are Shiatsu (Japanese finger pressure and assisted stretching), supporting athletes, doing deep tissue work with a specific focus in the head/neck/shoulder region, and her ultimate love, Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
Brianne has a background in Environmental Education, Wilderness Therapy and as a Snowboard instructor. She has also rounded out her holistic health approach by obtaining a Masters Degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University and is very excited to have started her private practice in psychotherapy: True Nature Therapeutics, where she specializes in EMDR and Gestalt therapy.
Brianne considers massage an art and a dance, an act of loving-kindness to self and other that is one of the best gifts of life. She sincerely strives to be as present, attuned and compassionate as possible with each and every person, resulting in consistently satisfied clients. Brianne is passionate about the wisdom of the body and strongly believes in the healing power of touch.
Brianne’s dedicated meditation/spiritual practice lends itself nicely to her work in the healing arts, as does her interests in herbalism and homeopathy. In her spare time, Brianne loves adventures in the Beauty of Nature, contemplating consciousness, dance, volleyball, yoga and playing with clay.
